GRAT — Privacy Policy

GRAT is a mountain weather and storm-warning app for climbers and hikers. GRAT requires no account, runs no analytics, tracking or advertising, and the App Store version sends nothing to servers of ours. Sign in with Apple is optional and only ever stored on your device; TestFlight builds can, with the tester's explicit consent, upload a session log to our server. We cannot see your data, and we do not collect, store, sell or share it. The one exception is what you send us yourself: if you email us feedback or a problem report, that message reaches us (see Feedback you send us).

Location

If you grant location access, your position is used on your device to assess weather risk and to request weather data for where you are. Before any request leaves your device, coordinates are rounded to three decimal places (about 110 metres). This applies to every service listed below, including official warnings. To show your country and district, the rounded position is also sent to Apple's geocoding service (part of iOS). Your location is never sent to us, never stored on a server of ours and never linked to an identity.

Motion and barometer

If you grant motion access, the device barometer is read to detect pressure drops that can signal an approaching storm, and iOS motion activity (for example "in a vehicle") is used during Companion Mode to pause distance and barometer measurements while you travel by car. These readings stay on your device.

Searching for a place

If you search for a place by name (to plan for a summit you are not standing on yet), the text you type is sent to Open-Meteo's geocoding service (geocoding-api.open-meteo.com) to look it up. It is sent on its own, with no identifier and nothing about you attached, and it is not stored by us. Places you save are kept only on your iPhone.

Apple Health

If you turn on "Save sessions to Health" in Settings, GRAT writes each finished Companion Mode session to Apple Health as a Hiking workout: start and end time, the route, and — only when the measurement is reliable — distance and elevation gain. GRAT only writes; it never reads anything from Health and does not ask for read access. The data goes to Apple Health on your device and never to us. The setting is off by default, and you can revoke write access at any time in iOS Settings > Health > Data Access.

Apple Watch

If GRAT is installed on a paired Apple Watch, the iPhone sends the latest risk level, its reason and two measurements to the watch over Apple's own device-to-device connection. Nothing goes to a server of ours, and the watch itself does not use your location, does not contact any service and does not compute anything — it only displays what the phone sent, together with the age of that reading.

Data stored on your device

Companion Mode session logs (time, rounded position, altitude, weather values, risk level, notifications and your answers to "was this alert appropriate?"), feedback entries, routes you import, settings, the date you accepted the terms of use and cached weather data are stored only on your iPhone. If iCloud Backup is enabled, iOS includes them in your own device backup. They are removed when you delete the app. You can export your logs as a CSV file from Settings; that file is shared only if you choose to share it. After a session you may also be offered a one-tap way to send that single session's file to the developer by e-mail: the mail is composed in your own mail app and nothing is sent unless you press send.

Weather services

To show forecasts, warnings, observations and radar, the app makes requests directly from your device to public weather services:

• Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) — weather forecasts (ICON, ECMWF models; HRRR in the continental US)
• Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) and its Bright Sky interface — official warnings, station observations and radar (Germany)
• MeteoAlarm (EUMETNET) — official warnings across Europe (requested by country, without coordinates)
• NOAA Aviation Weather Center (aviationweather.gov) — airport (METAR) observations outside Germany
• US National Weather Service (NWS) (api.weather.gov) — official warnings in the continental US (with rounded coordinates)
• NOAA nowCOAST (nowcoast.noaa.gov) — radar imagery in the continental US (map tiles of the area you view)
• RainViewer — radar imagery outside the DWD and NOAA coverage areas (map tiles of the area you view)

These services receive the request — including the rounded coordinates and, as with any internet request, your IP address — and handle it under their own privacy terms. GRAT sends them no identifier, no account and no personal information. A link to the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM) only opens their website when you tap it.

Purchases

If GRAT Pro is offered and you buy it, payment is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We receive no payment details and no personal information; your purchase is verified on your device using Apple's signed transaction data.

Sign in with Apple (optional)

GRAT requires no account to use. You can optionally use Sign in with Apple from the Profile screen to maintain a consistent identity for team sharing and future features. When you sign in with Apple, Apple provides a stable user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name. This information stays strictly on your device (in local app storage). We operate no user database, no authentication server, and no cloud profile. If you choose Apple's private email relay, we do not store or use that email address. You can sign out or delete your profile and credentials at any time directly in the app via Delete data on this device in the Profile screen.

App Store link

Settings > About contains a link that opens this app's App Store page so you can leave a rating. The app sends nothing when you tap it: iOS opens the App Store, and from that point Apple's own privacy policy applies. Writing a review is between you and Apple; we only see the published review, like anyone else.

Notifications

Notifications are generated locally on your device. GRAT uses no push servers.

Your rights

If we hold anything about you, it is only a message you sent us yourself; for that you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Everything else is on your device, under your control, and is deleted with the app. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your residence. Feedback you send us

Two places in the app can send us a message. Both only open your own mail app with the text prefilled, so nothing leaves your device until you press send:

• Report a problem (Settings, and at the end of a session): your description, plus app version and build, iOS version, device model (e.g. iPhone15,2), app language and unit system. No location, no identifier. You may also attach up to three screenshots you choose yourself: the app never captures the screen on its own, and it has no access to your photo library — the picker runs outside the app and hands over only the pictures you pick. Whatever is visible in a screenshot (your position, your route) reaches us with it, so look at it before you send.
• Alert feedback at the end of a trip: a CSV file of that one session is attached. It is the full record of the trip and includes coordinates and altitudes that are not rounded, measurements, risk levels, the alerts and your answers. Read it before you send it. You can also choose Save on device only, or share the file with yourself instead of mailing it to us.

Messages arrive at support@gratweather.com, a mailbox hosted by Apple (iCloud+ Mail) as our processor. We use them only to answer you, fix the problem and check how accurate the warnings were, and we keep them only as long as that takes. Ask us and we delete your message. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

Crash and usage reports

We use no crash or analytics SDK. If you have turned on Share with App Developers in iOS, Apple may make crash and performance reports about this app available to us; they come from Apple in aggregated form and we cannot link them to you. In the TestFlight beta, feedback you send through TestFlight reaches us with the information Apple attaches (device, iOS version, your TestFlight nickname and email address).

TestFlight beta diagnostic upload

In the TestFlight beta version only, testers may optionally choose to help us improve the app by turning on 'Send field data automatically' in Settings. If turned on, finished Companion Mode session logs (time, rounded coordinates, altitude, weather measurements and risk decisions) are uploaded to our test server (saha.gratweather.com) via an encrypted connection. This data is retained for up to 90 days for calibration and safety verification, after which it is deleted. Uploads use a randomly generated device tester ID and contain no Apple ID, email address, name or device name. This setting is off by default and can be turned off at any time in Settings. In the App Store release version, this upload mechanism does not exist and no session logs are ever sent to our servers.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies: the weather requests described above are necessary to provide the function you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b)); the records on your device are under your control; messages you send us fall under Art. 6(1)(b) and (f); Apple Health and Apple Watch are used only after your explicit consent in iOS (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time in iOS settings.

No profiles, no automated decisions

The risk assessment runs on your device, from weather data and your position. We build no profile of you and make no automated decision about you with legal effect. Your stated experience never changes the risk thresholds.

How long data is kept

What the app stores stays on your device until you delete it; deleting the app deletes all of it. Weather services keep their own request logs under their own policies. Messages you send us are deleted once the matter is settled, or earlier if you ask.

Processors and transfers outside the EU

We operate no servers and use no processors of our own, apart from the mailbox above (Apple). Some weather and warning services are outside the EU (for example the US services NWS and NOAA, and the Open-Meteo infrastructure). Those requests contain your coordinates rounded to about 110 m, no account and no identifier, so we do not identify you to them.

Children

GRAT is not directed at children and collects no personal data on its own initiative from anyone.

Changes

If the app starts sending any other data, or to any other service, this policy is updated before that version is released, and the date above changes. This also covers what is planned but does not exist today: a proxy server of our own (for example for a licensed radar layer or for verifying purchases) and push notifications. As long as this page says there is no server, the released app has none. Any new permission or sensor is asked for separately by iOS and you can refuse it. If a change affects the terms of use, the app asks you to accept them again.

GRAT ist eine App für Bergwetter und Gewitterwarnungen für Bergsteiger und Wanderer. GRAT verlangt kein Konto, nutzt keine Analyse-, Tracking- oder Werbedienste, und die App-Store-Version sendet nichts an eigene Server. „Mit Apple anmelden" ist freiwillig und bleibt ausschließlich auf deinem Gerät; in TestFlight-Builds kann ein Testnutzer nach ausdrücklicher Zustimmung ein Sitzungsprotokoll an unseren Server senden. Wir sehen deine Daten nicht; wir erheben, speichern, verkaufen und teilen sie nicht. Standort

Wenn du den Standortzugriff erlaubst, wird deine Position auf dem Gerät zur Einschätzung des Wetterrisikos und zum Abruf von Wetterdaten für deinen Ort verwendet. Bevor eine Anfrage dein Gerät verlässt, werden die Koordinaten auf drei Nachkommastellen (etwa 110 Meter) gerundet — bei allen unten genannten Diensten, auch bei amtlichen Warnungen. Um Land und Kreis anzuzeigen, wird die gerundete Position außerdem an den Geocoding-Dienst von Apple (Teil von iOS) gesendet. Dein Standort wird nie an uns gesendet, nie auf einem Server von uns gespeichert und nie mit einer Identität verknüpft.

Bewegung und Barometer

Wenn du den Bewegungszugriff erlaubst, wird das Barometer des Geräts gelesen, um Druckabfälle zu erkennen, die ein nahendes Gewitter ankündigen können; außerdem nutzt der Begleitmodus die iOS-Bewegungsaktivität (z. B. „im Fahrzeug"), um Distanz- und Barometermessung während einer Autofahrt zu pausieren. Diese Werte verlassen dein Gerät nicht.

Ortssuche

Wenn du einen Ort über seinen Namen suchst (um für einen Gipfel zu planen, auf dem du noch nicht stehst), wird der eingegebene Text zum Nachschlagen an den Geocoding-Dienst von Open-Meteo (geocoding-api.open-meteo.com) geschickt. Er geht für sich allein, ohne Kennung und ohne Angaben zu dir, und wird von uns nicht gespeichert. Gespeicherte Orte bleiben nur auf deinem iPhone.

Apple Health

Wenn du in den Einstellungen „Touren in Health speichern" aktivierst, schreibt GRAT jede beendete Begleitmodus-Tour als Wandern-Workout nach Apple Health: Start- und Endzeit, die Route und — nur bei verlässlicher Messung — Distanz und Höhenmeter. GRAT schreibt ausschließlich; es liest nichts aus Health und fragt auch keinen Lesezugriff an. Die Daten gehen an Apple Health auf deinem Gerät, niemals an uns. Die Einstellung ist standardmäßig aus, und du kannst den Schreibzugriff jederzeit in iOS Einstellungen > Health > Datenzugriff widerrufen.

Apple Watch

Ist GRAT auf einer gekoppelten Apple Watch installiert, schickt das iPhone die aktuelle Risikostufe, ihre Begründung und zwei Messwerte über Apples eigene Geräteverbindung an die Uhr. An einen Server von uns geht nichts; die Uhr selbst nutzt deinen Standort nicht, kontaktiert keinen Dienst und berechnet nichts — sie zeigt nur, was das Telefon gesendet hat, samt dem Alter dieser Angabe.

Auf deinem Gerät gespeicherte Daten

Protokolle des Begleitmodus (Zeit, gerundete Position, Höhe, Wetterwerte, Risikostufe, Mitteilungen und deine Antworten auf „War diese Warnung zutreffend?"), Feedback, importierte Routen, Einstellungen, das Datum deiner Zustimmung zu den Nutzungsbedingungen und zwischengespeicherte Wetterdaten liegen nur auf deinem iPhone. Ist iCloud-Backup aktiv, nimmt iOS sie in dein eigenes Geräte-Backup auf. Sie werden beim Löschen der App entfernt. Du kannst deine Protokolle in den Einstellungen als CSV-Datei exportieren; diese Datei wird nur geteilt, wenn du sie teilst. Nach einer Tour wird dir zusätzlich angeboten, die Datei DIESER einen Tour mit einem Tipp per E-Mail an den Entwickler zu schicken: die Mail wird in deiner eigenen Mail-App geöffnet und nichts wird gesendet, solange du nicht auf Senden drückst.

Wetterdienste

Für Vorhersagen, Warnungen, Beobachtungen und Radar stellt die App Anfragen direkt von deinem Gerät an öffentliche Wetterdienste:

• Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) — Wettervorhersagen (Modelle ICON, ECMWF; HRRR im Kerngebiet der USA)
• Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) und dessen Schnittstelle Bright Sky — amtliche Warnungen, Stationsbeobachtungen und Radar (Deutschland)
• MeteoAlarm (EUMETNET) — amtliche Warnungen in Europa (nach Land abgefragt, ohne Koordinaten)

Diese Dienste erhalten die Anfrage — einschließlich der gerundeten Koordinaten und, wie bei jeder Internetanfrage, deiner IP-Adresse — und verarbeiten sie nach ihren eigenen Datenschutzbestimmungen. GRAT sendet ihnen keine Kennung, kein Konto und keine personenbezogenen Daten. Ein Link zum türkischen Wetterdienst (MGM) öffnet nur dessen Website, wenn du ihn antippst.

Käufe

Wenn GRAT Pro angeboten wird und du es kaufst, wird die Zahlung vollständig von Apple über deine Apple-ID abgewickelt. Wir erhalten keine Zahlungsdaten und keine personenbezogenen Daten; dein Kauf wird auf deinem Gerät anhand der signierten Transaktionsdaten von Apple geprüft.

Mit Apple anmelden (optional)

GRAT erfordert kein Benutzerkonto. Du kannst dich im Profil-Bildschirm optional mit „Mit Apple anmelden“ verbinden, um eine beständige Identität für Team-Funktionen zu behalten. Bei der Anmeldung stellt Apple eine eindeutige Benutzerkennung und, sofern freigegeben, deinen Namen bereit. Diese Daten verbleiben vollständig auf deinem Gerät (im lokalen App-Speicher). Wir betreiben weder eine Benutzerdatenbank noch einen Authentifizierungsserver. Wählst du die E-Mail-Verschleierung von Apple, speichern oder nutzen wir diese Adresse nicht. Du kannst dich jederzeit abmelden oder deine Profildaten und Anmeldedaten direkt in der App über Daten auf diesem Gerät löschen im Profil-Bildschirm löschen.

App-Store-Link

Unter Einstellungen > Über gibt es einen Link, der die App-Store-Seite dieser App öffnet, damit du sie bewerten kannst. Beim Antippen sendet die App nichts: iOS öffnet den App Store, und ab diesem Punkt gilt Apples eigene Datenschutzerklärung. Die Bewertung schreibst du gegenüber Apple; wir sehen nur die veröffentlichte Bewertung, wie alle anderen auch.

Mitteilungen

Mitteilungen werden lokal auf deinem Gerät erzeugt. GRAT nutzt keine Push-Server.

Deine Rechte

Wenn bei uns überhaupt etwas über dich liegt, ist es nur eine Nachricht, die du uns selbst geschickt hast; dafür hast du die Rechte auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Widerspruch und Datenübertragbarkeit (Art. 15 bis 21 DSGVO). Alles andere liegt auf deinem Gerät, steht unter deiner Kontrolle und wird mit der App gelöscht. Du hast das Recht, dich bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde zu beschweren, insbesondere in dem EU-Mitgliedstaat deines Wohnsitzes. Fragen: support@gratweather.com.

Rückmeldungen, die du uns schickst

An zwei Stellen kann die App uns eine Nachricht senden. Beide öffnen nur deine eigene Mail-App mit vorbereitetem Text; nichts verlässt dein Gerät, bevor du auf Senden tippst:

• Problem melden (Einstellungen und am Ende einer Tour): deine Beschreibung sowie App-Version und Build, iOS-Version, Gerätemodell (z. B. iPhone15,2), App-Sprache und Einheitensystem. Kein Standort, keine Kennung. Du kannst zusätzlich bis zu drei selbst ausgewählte Screenshots anhängen: Die App fotografiert den Bildschirm nie von sich aus und hat keinen Zugriff auf deine Fotomediathek — die Auswahl läuft außerhalb der App und übergibt nur die Bilder, die du aussuchst. Was auf einem Screenshot zu sehen ist (dein Standort, deine Route), erreicht uns damit; sieh ihn dir vor dem Senden an.
• Rückmeldung zu Warnungen am Tourende: angehängt ist eine CSV-Datei dieser einen Tour. Sie ist die vollständige Aufzeichnung und enthält nicht gerundete Koordinaten und Höhen, Messwerte, Risikostufen, die Warnungen und deine Antworten. Sieh sie dir vor dem Senden an. Du kannst auch Nur auf dem Gerät speichern wählen oder die Datei mit dir selbst teilen.

Nachrichten erreichen support@gratweather.com, ein Postfach, das Apple (iCloud+ Mail) als Auftragsverarbeiter betreibt. Wir nutzen sie nur, um dir zu antworten, den Fehler zu beheben und die Treffsicherheit der Warnungen zu prüfen, und bewahren sie nur so lange auf, wie das dauert. Auf deine Bitte löschen wir deine Nachricht. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b und f DSGVO.

Absturz- und Nutzungsberichte

Wir verwenden kein Absturz- oder Analyse-SDK. Hast du in iOS Mit App-Entwicklern teilen aktiviert, kann Apple uns Absturz- und Leistungsberichte zu dieser App bereitstellen; sie kommen aggregiert von Apple und sind für uns nicht mit dir verknüpfbar. In der TestFlight-Beta erreichen uns Rückmeldungen über TestFlight mit den Angaben, die Apple beifügt (Gerät, iOS-Version, dein TestFlight-Name und deine E-Mail-Adresse).

Diagnose-Upload in der TestFlight-Beta

Ausschließlich in der TestFlight-Beta-Version können Tester freiwillig dabei helfen, die App zu verbessern, indem sie in den Einstellungen „Felddaten automatisch senden" aktivieren. Wenn diese Option aktiviert ist, werden die Protokolle beendeter Begleitmodus-Touren (Zeit, gerundete Koordinaten, Höhe, Wettermesswerte und Risikoentscheidungen) verschlüsselt an unseren Testserver (saha.gratweather.com) übertragen. Diese Daten werden für bis zu 90 Tage zur Kalibrierung und Sicherheitsüberprüfung gespeichert und anschließend gelöscht. Die Übertragung erfolgt mit einer zufällig erzeugten Tester-ID und enthält keine Apple-ID, E-Mail-Adresse, Namen oder Gerätenamen. Die Einstellung ist standardmäßig deaktiviert und kann in den Einstellungen jederzeit ausgeschaltet werden. In der über den App Store veröffentlichten Version existiert diese Funktion nicht, und es werden zu keinem Zeitpunkt Tourprotokolle an unsere Server gesendet.

Rechtsgrundlagen

Soweit die DSGVO gilt: die oben beschriebenen Wetterabfragen sind zur Erbringung der von dir gewünschten Funktion erforderlich (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b); die Aufzeichnungen auf deinem Gerät stehen unter deiner Kontrolle; Nachrichten an uns verarbeiten wir nach Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b und f; Apple Health und Apple Watch werden erst nach deiner ausdrücklichen Zustimmung in iOS genutzt (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a), die du in den iOS-Einstellungen jederzeit widerrufen kannst.

Keine Profile, keine automatisierten Entscheidungen

Die Risikoeinschätzung läuft auf deinem Gerät, aus Wetterdaten und deiner Position. Wir erstellen kein Profil von dir und treffen keine automatisierte Entscheidung mit rechtlicher Wirkung über dich. Deine angegebene Erfahrung verändert die Risikoschwellen nie.

Speicherdauer

Was die App speichert, bleibt auf deinem Gerät, bis du es löschst; mit der App wird alles gelöscht. Wetterdienste führen eigene Zugriffsprotokolle nach ihren eigenen Richtlinien. Nachrichten an uns löschen wir, sobald die Sache erledigt ist, auf Wunsch früher.

Auftragsverarbeiter und Übermittlung außerhalb der EU

Wir betreiben keine Server und nutzen keine eigenen Auftragsverarbeiter, außer dem oben genannten Postfach (Apple). Einige Wetter- und Warndienste liegen außerhalb der EU (z. B. die US-Dienste NWS und NOAA sowie die Infrastruktur von Open-Meteo). Diese Abfragen enthalten deine auf etwa 110 m gerundeten Koordinaten, kein Konto und keine Kennung; wir identifizieren dich ihnen gegenüber nicht.

Lebst du in der Türkei, stehen dir die Rechte nach dem türkischen Datenschutzgesetz (KVKK) zu; schreib an support@gratweather.com. Unsere Postanschrift steht in den Nutzungsbedingungen in der App.

Kinder

GRAT richtet sich nicht an Kinder und erhebt von sich aus von niemandem personenbezogene Daten.

Änderungen

Sendet die App künftig andere Daten oder an andere Dienste, wird diese Erklärung vor der Veröffentlichung dieser Version aktualisiert und das Datum oben geändert. Das gilt auch für das, was geplant ist, heute aber nicht existiert: ein eigener Proxy-Server (etwa für eine lizenzierte Radarschicht oder zur Kaufprüfung) und Push-Mitteilungen. Solange auf dieser Seite steht, dass es keinen Server gibt, hat die veröffentlichte App keinen. Jede neue Berechtigung oder jeden neuen Sensor erfragt iOS zusätzlich, und du kannst ablehnen. Betrifft eine Änderung die Nutzungsbedingungen, bittet die App erneut um deine Zustimmung.

Herhangi bir istek cihazından çıkmadan önce koordinatlar üç ondalık basamağa (yaklaşık 110 metre) yuvarlanır — resmî uyarılar dahil aşağıdaki bütün servisler için. Ülkeni ve ilçeni göstermek için yuvarlanmış konum ayrıca Apple'ın adres çözümleme servisine (iOS'un parçası) gönderilir. Konumun bize hiç gönderilmez, bizim bir sunucumuzda saklanmaz ve hiçbir kimlikle ilişkilendirilmez.

Hareket ve barometre

Hareket izni verirsen, yaklaşan fırtınayı haber verebilen basınç düşüşlerini algılamak için cihazın barometresi okunur; ayrıca Eşlik Modu, araçla giderken mesafe ve barometre ölçümünü duraklatmak için iOS hareket etkinliğini (ör. "araçta") kullanır. Bu ölçümler cihazından çıkmaz.

Yer arama

Bir yeri adıyla aradığında (henüz üstünde durmadığın bir zirve için plan yaparken), yazdığın metin aramayı yapmak üzere Open-Meteo'nun coğrafi arama servisine (geocoding-api.open-meteo.com) gönderilir. Tek başına gider; yanında hiçbir kimlik ya da sana dair bilgi olmaz ve bizde saklanmaz. Kaydettiğin yerler yalnız iPhone'unda durur.

Apple Sağlık

Ayarlar'da "Oturumları Sağlık'a kaydet" seçeneğini açarsan, GRAT biten her Eşlik Modu oturumunu Apple Sağlık'a bir Yürüyüş antrenmanı olarak yazar: başlangıç ve bitiş zamanı, rota ve — yalnız ölçüm güvenilirse — mesafe ile rakım kazancı. GRAT yalnızca yazar; Sağlık'tan hiçbir şey okumaz ve okuma izni istemez. Veri cihazındaki Apple Sağlık'a gider, bize hiçbir zaman gelmez. Ayar varsayılan olarak kapalıdır; yazma iznini istediğin an iOS Ayarlar > Sağlık > Veri Erişimi'nden geri alabilirsin.

Apple Watch

Eşleşmiş bir Apple Watch'ta GRAT kuruluysa, iPhone son risk seviyesini, gerekçesini ve iki ölçümü Apple'ın kendi cihazdan cihaza bağlantısıyla saate gönderir. Bizim bir sunucumuza hiçbir şey gitmez; saatin kendisi konumunu kullanmaz, hiçbir servise bağlanmaz ve hesap yapmaz — yalnız telefonun gönderdiğini, o bilginin yaşıyla birlikte gösterir.

Cihazında saklananlar

Eşlik Modu oturum kayıtları (zaman, yuvarlanmış konum, rakım, hava değerleri, risk seviyesi, bildirimler ve "bu uyarı yerinde miydi?" cevapların), geri bildirimler, içe aktardığın rotalar, ayarlar, kullanım şartlarını kabul ettiğin tarih ve önbelleğe alınmış hava verisi yalnız iPhone'unda durur. iCloud Yedekleme açıksa iOS bunları senin kendi cihaz yedeğine alır. Uygulamayı sildiğinde silinirler. Kayıtlarını Ayarlar'dan CSV olarak dışa aktarabilirsin; o dosya yalnız sen paylaşırsan paylaşılır. Oturum bittiğinde ayrıca YALNIZ O OTURUMUN dosyasını tek dokunuşla geliştiriciye e-postayla gönderme seçeneği sunulur: posta senin kendi posta uygulamanda açılır ve sen Gönder'e basmadıkça hiçbir şey gitmez.

Hava servisleri

Tahmin, uyarı, gözlem ve radar göstermek için uygulama cihazından doğrudan kamuya açık hava servislerine istek atar:

• Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) — hava tahminleri (ICON, ECMWF modelleri; ABD anakarasında HRRR)
• Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) ve Bright Sky arayüzü — resmî uyarılar, istasyon gözlemleri ve radar (Almanya)
• MeteoAlarm (EUMETNET) — Avrupa genelinde resmî uyarılar (ülkeye göre, koordinatsız)
• NOAA Aviation Weather Center (aviationweather.gov) — Almanya dışında havaalanı (METAR) gözlemleri
• ABD Ulusal Meteoroloji Servisi (NWS) (api.weather.gov) — ABD anakarasında resmî uyarılar (yuvarlanmış koordinatla)
• NOAA nowCOAST (nowcoast.noaa.gov) — ABD anakarasında radar görüntüsü (baktığın alanın harita karoları)
• RainViewer — DWD ve NOAA kapsamı dışında radar görüntüsü (baktığın alanın harita karoları)

Bu servisler isteği alır — yuvarlanmış koordinat ve her internet isteğinde olduğu gibi IP adresin dahil — ve kendi gizlilik koşullarına göre işler. GRAT bu servislere hiçbir kimlik, hesap veya kişisel bilgi göndermez. Meteoroloji Genel Müdürlüğü (MGM) bağlantısı yalnız dokunduğunda onların web sitesini açar.

Satın almalar

GRAT Pro sunulur ve satın alırsan ödemeyi tamamen Apple, Apple ID'n üzerinden yürütür. Biz hiçbir ödeme bilgisi ve kişisel bilgi almayız; satın alman cihazında Apple'ın imzalı işlem verisiyle doğrulanır.

Apple ile Giriş (isteğe bağlı)

GRAT hesap gerektirmez. İsteğe bağlı olarak Profil ekranından Apple ile Giriş yapabilirsin; bu, ekip paylaşımı ve ilerideki özellikler için kimliğinin sabit kalmasını sağlar. Apple ile Giriş yaptığında Apple benzersiz bir kullanıcı kimliği ve paylaştıysan adını sağlar. Bu bilgiler bütünüyle cihazında kalır (yerel uygulama depolamasında). Bir kullanıcı veritabanı, kimlik doğrulama sunucusu veya bulut profilimiz yoktur. E-posta gizleme (private relay) seçilirse bu adresi saklamıyor ve kullanmıyoruz. İstediğin an oturumu kapatabilir ya da Profil ekranındaki Bu cihazdaki verimi sil seçeneğiyle profilini ve kimlik bağlantını silebilirsin.

App Store bağlantısı

Ayarlar > Hakkında bölümünde, uygulamayı değerlendirebilmen için bu uygulamanın App Store sayfasını açan bir bağlantı var. Dokunduğunda uygulama hiçbir şey göndermez: iOS App Store'u açar ve o noktadan sonra Apple'ın kendi gizlilik politikası geçerlidir. Değerlendirmeyi Apple'a yazarsın; biz yalnız yayımlanan değerlendirmeyi görürüz, herkes gibi.

Bildirimler

Bildirimler cihazında yerel olarak üretilir. GRAT hiçbir push sunucusu kullanmaz.

Hakların

Bizde hakkında bir şey varsa, o yalnız kendi gönderdiğin mesajdır; bunun için erişme, düzeltme, silme, işlemenin kısıtlanması, itiraz ve veri taşınabilirliği haklarına sahipsin (GDPR md. 15 ila 21). Geri kalan her şey cihazında, senin kontrolünde durur ve uygulamayla birlikte silinir. Bir veri koruma denetim makamına, özellikle ikamet ettiğin AB ülkesindekine şikâyette bulunma hakkın vardır. Bize gönderdiğin geri bildirimler

Uygulamada iki yerden bize mesaj gönderilebilir. İkisi de yalnız kendi posta uygulamanı hazır metinle açar; sen gönder'e basmadan cihazından hiçbir şey çıkmaz:

• Sorun bildir (Ayarlar ve oturum sonu): yazdığın açıklama ile uygulama sürümü ve yapı numarası, iOS sürümü, cihaz modeli (ör. iPhone15,2), uygulama dili ve birim sistemi. Konum yok, kimlik yok. İstersen en fazla üç kendi seçtiğin ekran görüntüsü ekleyebilirsin: uygulama ekranı kendiliğinden yakalamaz ve fotoğraf kitaplığına erişimi yoktur — seçim uygulamanın dışında çalışır ve yalnız senin seçtiğin kareleri verir. Ekran görüntüsünde ne görünüyorsa (konumun, rotan) onunla birlikte bize ulaşır; göndermeden önce bir bak.
• Oturum sonunda uyarı geri bildirimi: o tek oturumun CSV dosyası eklenir. Bu dosya oturumun tam kaydıdır ve yuvarlanmamış enlem, boylam ve rakım değerleri, ölçümler, risk seviyeleri, uyarılar ve cevaplarını içerir. Göndermeden önce dosyaya bak. İstersen Yalnız cihazda sakla diyebilir ya da dosyayı bize yollamak yerine kendinle paylaşabilirsin.

Mesajlar support@gratweather.com adresine, Apple'ın (iCloud+ Mail) veri işleyen olarak barındırdığı posta kutusuna düşer. Bunları yalnız sana cevap vermek, sorunu düzeltmek ve uyarıların isabetini kontrol etmek için kullanırız ve yalnız bu süre kadar tutarız. İstersen mesajını sileriz. Çökme ve kullanım raporları

Çökme ya da analitik SDK'sı kullanmıyoruz. iOS'ta Uygulama Geliştiricileriyle Paylaş açıksa Apple bu uygulamaya ait çökme ve performans raporlarını bize sunabilir; bunlar Apple'dan toplanmış biçimde gelir ve bizim için seninle ilişkilendirilemez. TestFlight beta sürümünde TestFlight üzerinden gönderdiğin geri bildirimler, Apple'ın eklediği bilgilerle birlikte bize ulaşır (cihaz, iOS sürümü, TestFlight adın ve e-posta adresin).

TestFlight beta tanılama yüklemesi

Yalnızca TestFlight beta sürümünde, testçiler Ayarlar'dan „Saha verilerini otomatik gönder" seçeneğini açıkça etkinleştirerek uygulamanın geliştirilmesine katkıda bulunmayı seçebilir. Bu ayar açıldığında, tamamlanan Eşlik Modu oturum kayıtları (zaman, yuvarlanmış koordinatlar, rakım, hava ölçümleri ve risk kararları) şifreli bir bağlantıyla test sunucumuza (saha.gratweather.com) aktarılır. Bu veriler kalibrasyon ve güvenlik doğrulaması amacıyla en fazla 90 gün saklanır ve ardından silinir. Gönderimler cihazda üretilen rastgele bir testçi kimliğiyle yapılır; Apple Kimliği, e-posta adresi, kişi adı veya cihaz adı gönderilmez. Bu ayar varsayılan olarak kapalıdır ve Ayarlar'dan dilediğiniz an kapatılabilir. App Store'da yayımlanan mağaza sürümünde bu yükleme mekanizması yer almaz ve sunucularımıza hiçbir oturum kaydı gönderilmez.

Hukuki dayanaklar

GDPR'ın uygulandığı yerde: yukarıda anlatılan hava istekleri, istediğin işlevi sunmak için gereklidir (md. 6(1)(b)); cihazındaki kayıtlar senin kontrolündedir; bize gönderdiğin mesajlar md. 6(1)(b) ve (f) kapsamındadır; Apple Sağlık ve Apple Watch yalnız iOS'ta verdiğin açık izinle kullanılır (md. 6(1)(a)) ve bu izni iOS ayarlarından her an geri alabilirsin.

Profil çıkarma ve otomatik karar yok

Risk değerlendirmesi, hava verisi ve konumundan cihazında hesaplanır. Hakkında profil çıkarmıyoruz ve hukuki sonuç doğuran otomatik bir karar vermiyoruz. Beyan ettiğin deneyim risk eşiklerini hiçbir zaman değiştirmez.

Veriler ne kadar saklanır

Uygulamanın sakladığı her şey, sen silene kadar cihazında kalır; uygulamayı silmek hepsini siler. Hava servisleri kendi erişim kayıtlarını kendi politikalarına göre tutar. Bize gönderdiğin mesajlar, iş çözülünce ya da sen istediğinde silinir.

Veri işleyenler ve AB dışına aktarım

Kendi sunucumuz ve kendi veri işleyenlerimiz yok; yukarıdaki posta kutusu (Apple) dışında. Bazı hava ve uyarı servisleri AB dışındadır (ör. ABD'nin NWS ve NOAA servisleri, Open-Meteo altyapısı). Bu isteklerde konumun yaklaşık 110 metreye yuvarlanmış olarak gider; hesap ve kimlik bilgisi gitmez, seni onlara tanıtmayız.

Türkiye'de yaşıyorsan 6698 sayılı KVKK kapsamındaki haklarını (bilgi isteme, erişme, düzeltme, silme, itiraz) support@gratweather.com adresine yazarak kullanabilir, cevabı yeterli bulmazsan Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu'na başvurabilirsin. Posta adresimiz uygulamadaki Kullanım Şartları'nda yazılıdır.

Çocuklar

GRAT çocuklara yönelik değildir ve kendiliğinden hiç kimseden kişisel veri toplamaz.

Değişiklikler

Uygulama ileride başka bir veri ya da başka bir servise veri göndermeye başlarsa, bu politika o sürüm yayınlanmadan önce güncellenir ve yukarıdaki tarih değişir. Bu, planlanan ama bugün var olmayanları da kapsar: kendi vekil sunucumuz (ör. lisanslı radar katmanı ya da satın alma doğrulaması için) ve push bildirimleri. Bu sayfada sunucu yok yazdığı sürece, yayınlanan uygulamada sunucu yoktur. Yeni bir izin ya da sensörü iOS ayrıca sorar ve reddedebilirsin. Değişiklik kullanım şartlarını etkiliyorsa uygulama yeniden onayını ister.
